Terms of Service

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Service for someone else’s birth data, make sure you have the right to do so.

2. What the Service is

Purple Star Compass calculates Zi Wei Dou Shu charts and uses AI to explain them. It is provided for self-reflection, education and cultural interest.

3. Not professional advice

Nothing in the Service is medical, legal, financial, psychological or other professional advice, and nothing in it is a prediction or guarantee of any outcome. Do not use it as the sole basis for important decisions, and do not delay seeking professional help because of something you read here. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

4. AI-generated content

Readings are generated by AI. They may be incomplete, inconsistent or wrong, and different traditions of Zi Wei Dou Shu interpret the same chart differently. You are responsible for how you use what you read.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
• scrape, overload or reverse engineer the Service, or bypass its limits;
• use the Service to harass, deceive or harm others;
• submit content that is unlawful or that you do not have the right to share.

6. Payments and refunds

Some features are paid. Prices and what is included are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe and points are delivered to your account immediately. Prices are in US dollars; where we must collect sales tax or VAT, it is shown before you pay.

Paid features use points. New accounts receive free gift points, and points are spent on readings and follow-up questions; the number of points each action costs is shown on the Pricing page and before you confirm it. Points do not expire. Free gift points have no cash value. If a reading fails to generate, the points are returned automatically. When an account is deleted, any remaining points are forfeited, unless you have asked for a refund as described below.

Refunds: if you have not used any points from a purchase, you may ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying by writing to leo@vaultradar.app. Points that have already been used are not refundable, because the readings they paid for have been delivered. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you ask us to deliver the points immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for points once you have used them. Nothing in this section limits your mandatory legal rights.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, text and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may use your own readings for personal purposes and share them with others, but you may not resell the Service or present its content as your own product. Some components are open source and are used under their own licences.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory consumer rights.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the Service. You can stop using the Service at any time.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections of the country where you live still apply.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we make a material change we will update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
